First Aid station is located beside the Fair Office, at the corner of Spruce Lodge.

Craftsmen's Coffee Lounge is located in the Competition Center building, to the right of the Exhibition Tent. Please clean up after yourself there, and remember that we have many people to serve, so please do not fill up a thermos. Open Daily 9-2pm.Thank you for your understanding.

If you have any issues with wifi, please bring it to the attention of the Fair Office so that we may have our onsite tech support visit you.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

Please do not put any broken glass into the trash bins. Sunapee staff has had shards sticking through the bags on more than one day, and staff changing out the bags just avoided being cut. We ask that any broken glass go into a box placed on top of a trash receptacle OR directly into the dumpster at the back of Spruce Lodge. Thank you!

Good morning!

This morning we are pleased to welcome representatives from the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance, who will join us in opening the Fair. They also have an informational display located inside Spruce Lodge near the restrooms. The Preservation Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving New Hampshire’s historic buildings, landscapes, and cultural heritage, and we’re grateful to have them with us today.

The weather forecast looks beautiful, and we’re looking forward to another wonderful day on the mountain! As always, please stop by the Fair Office if you have any questions, concerns, or if there’s anything we can do to support you.

In tomorrow’s newsletter, we’ll celebrate this year’s Booth Award winners and share an update on our gate attendance as we head into the final stretch of the 93rd Annual Craftsmen’s Fair. We will also share a "save the date" for September for our Fair wrap up meeting where we will share in depth reporting of the event performance as well as the post event survey results.

The Fair participant survey will be released later this month. This important survey helps us make the event stronger each year and is the official forum for the Event Committee to review when they set priorities. Our event committee chair is Kathy Litchfield up in tent 1 booth # 107.

Thank you for all you do to make this Fair such a special experience for our visitors. Have a wonderful day!

Kate Saunders

Executive Director

Congratulations to Nina Zotcavage for 20 years as a booth holder!

Apologies for missing her name on yesterday's list. We are working on better ways to confirm years of attendance for our booth holders. We value each and every one of you and are grateful for your understanding as we work as a staff to update records and streamline processes each year.

Early Morning Entry Notice

The corner entry by Spruce Lodge at Parking Lot 2 will only be available up until 9 AM each day. After that, you must use a designated entry gate. All vehicles used by vendors must be off the property by 9 AM. We are fully locking that fencing by 9:30 AM.

If you are approached by security or mountain staff who are enforcing these rules, please remember to be respectful and listen to their instructions. If you have any concerns regarding an interaction, bring it to the attention of our Event Manager, Karina Jonas or Executive Director Kate Saunders. Thank you

Volunteer Assistance

On Saturday 8/8 we will be very light on tent volunteers. Please remember to turn in the Volunteer Request form found in your booth packet if you know that you will need support. We do our best to prioritize these requests on the days when we do not have as many people available. Thank you to everyone for being supportive of their booth neighbors on days like this as well. You make the system work!

FYI League WIFI - Blocking Social Media

Between 9:45 AM and 5:15 PM our wifi network is blocking access to social media (such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube). This is done to try to ensure that all point of sale devices will function properly during Fair hours. We appreciate your understanding.
