This is a new and very exciting project where we will be teaming up with Lesley's Recycling. Their mission is to bring the community together and bring awareness of how recycling is not only good for the environment but it can change someone's life. Volunteers for this project will collect recyclables for 2-3 weeks at their house/in the neighborhood and will then join us for a giant sorting session. All of the sorted items will then be recycled for cash and donated to another local organization. Join Us!

KHK SPOTLIGHT. KIDS MAKING AN IMPACT.
This month KHK recognizes Lead Ambassador Ellena Whipple! This summer sixteen-year-old Ellena Whipple will lead Kindness Kits for the girls at Camp LiveGirl. This project will be led during their "It's All Good in The Sisterhood" week in order to highlight their Live Kind pillar which celebrates and teaches the power kindness can have.

Ellena has an Instagram page, QuotesthatConnectUs, where she writes inspiring words to help others have hope, faith, and strength. From this, she began designing "Motivational Boxes" which hold messages of hope for people who are facing adversity and personal struggles. Ellena's dream is to connect with others through her boxes and inspire them to persevere through difficult times. For this special project, campers will create these motivational Kindness Kits for Inspirica.
