• 25-0468: Council members Watson and Alvidrez will present a policy to reduce scrap metal theft by regulating sales. 

City Council Meeting — 3:30 p.m. with a recess between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. for the General Public Comment Session. The meeting continues with unfinished business and public hearings at 5:30 p.m.

There are two proclamations in the 3:30 p.m. session: 

• 25-0476: A Proclamation Recognizing April 2025 as National Donate Life Month. 

• 25-0478: A Proclamation Celebrating Denver’s Bid to Become a UNICEF Recognized Child Friendly City. 

 There are two proclamations in the 5:30 p.m. session: 

• 25-0477: A Proclamation Recognizing the Contributions of Lilly Gurule and the Colorado Ladies of Lowriding. 

• 25-0479: A Proclamation Celebrating Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. 

 There are two public hearings in the 5:30 p.m. session:  Learn how to speak or submit written testimony.

• 25-0046: Community Planning and Development will present an ordinance changing the zoning classification for 3115 West 8th Avenue in Villa Park.
