THIS WEEK

St. Thomas 2026 Stewardship

This SUNDAY concludes this year's Stewardship Campaign! Please bring your pledge card if you have not already turned it in!

Special prayers of thanksgiving and blessing will be offered at all three Eucharists

Dear Friends in Christ,

As we come to the close of our Tell Out My Soul Stewardship Campaign this Sunday,

November 16, I want to take a moment to thank each of you — the heart and soul of

our beloved St. Thomas. Your generosity, your prayers, and your commitment to our

shared ministry continue to make this parish a place of grace, hope, and service.

To all who have already turned in your pledge cards, thank you for your faithfulness

and support. And to those who are still prayerfully discerning your pledge, please

know that you are welcome to turn in your card whenever you feel the time is right.

Every offering, given with love and intention, helps tell the story of how God is working

through our community.

Together, we are truly “telling out our souls” in gratitude for all God has done and

continues to do among us.

With deep appreciation,

David Hattaway

Book Study Concludes THIS Sunday, November 16

Sunday morning Book Study with Fr. Donavan Concludes THIS SUNDAY, November 16

Fr. Donavan's book study on Supernatural, by Michael S. Heiser returns with a discussion of the final chapters of the book THIS Sunday, November 16 in Conference Room 1. This book takes on the strange and sometimes avoided passages of the Old and New Testament. It isn't that these passages from the Bible are avoided or passed over by preachers because they about hot-button issues or hard to understand, they are avoided because they are about the supernatural and what Heiser refers to as "the unseen world." Find out what the Bible actually has to tell us about the strange and the supernatural, and how what the Bible has to say about the "unseen world" actually matters today for our world and our deeper understanding of our faith.

Join Fr. Donavan THIS SUNDAY at 9:30 AM in Conference Rm. 1!

Shellie's Kids: Friends of 400

It’s Time for the 2025 Friends of 400: Shellie's Kids Christmas Extravaganza!

Each year, St. Thomas sponsors Friends of 400 and Shellie's Kids to help make Christmas brighter for children living in public housing and those active in Troop/Cub Pack 400 and the Searcy Boys & Girls Club. Last year they were able to gift over 450 local kids! And this year more children are waiting to be adopted. Let’s come together again to make sure every child wakes up to Christmas morning joy! The impact of our Christmas Gift Drive lasts far beyond the holiday season.

How to Adopt a Child

1. Pick a child's information sheet from the "Shellie's Kids" table this Sunday at St. Thomas.

2. Each child lists 3 clothing needs and 2 “want” gifts (up to $30 each).

3. You may be extra generous, but please fit everything into 4 boxes (no more, no less).

4. Wrap and label each box clearly with the child’s name, and return them to St. Thomas for collection by our Outreach Committee by December 7.

  • Please turn in all Lobsterfest receipts to our bookkeeper, Irene, ASAP!
