A newly created position, Head of National Sales, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer-Brands, will have responsibility for the growth and development of our wine sales in the domestic market across the Randall Wine Group brand portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a new Australian wine brand, established by Georges Thienpont - fourth generation of the renowned Thienpont family who have been producing wine in Bordeaux since 1921. The Winemaker/Manager will oversee the final stages of the new winery build, which is due for completion in 2025.

The brand will focus on premium Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills and Cabernet Sauvignon from McLaren Vale, with the inaugural vintage planned for release in 2026. Josef Chromy Tasmania is a modern winery with a state-of-the-art facility located in Relbia, just south of Launceston in Northern Tasmania.

Vintage 2025 will see us produce premium cool climate still and sparkling wines from predominantly Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc sourced from across the state.

We are currently seeking experienced Cellar Hands and Laboratory Technicians that are enthusiastic, hard working and self motivated to join our team for the upcoming vintage season. We anticipate vintage to begin in early February and run to mid-late April, with approximately 8-10 weeks of work. We operate in 2 shifts (day/night) for the majority of vintage, with varying work hours of up to 12 hours per shift and 6 days per week as dictated by the season and workload.

Vintage Cellar Hands will be involved in all facets of wine production including grape receival and processing, rackings, additions, inoculations, fermentation and cap management, barrel work, winery sanitation and cleaning amongst other jobs.

Laboratory Technicians will process grape maturity samples, monitor fermentations, conduct all general juice/wine analysis in our well equipped lab, enter data into Vintrace and participate in cellar work as required.
