Tomorrow!

Walk to End Alzheimer's!

The St. Andrew's Angels are walking the Alzheimer's walk on Saturday, November 7th, at 9am. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, we're raising awareness and funds to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

It does it not cost anything to register for this walk. It is open to all ages and walkers or strollers are allowed. The walk will be held at the Riverfront Plaza, 2 W Independent Dr. Jacksonville, FL 32202. The route is 1.5 miles.

Please help us to spread the word about Alzheimer's awareness. Let Kathleen know if you are interested or use the button below to sign up for the St. Andrew's Angels team. Note, for sign up purposes: St. Andrews Angels, Carol Childers is the team captain.

Our brand new handbell choir is meeting downstairs in the choir room around noon on Sunday. Grab a cookie and coffee, and then head downstairs to learn how to ring!

St. Andrew's Day

Whenever a church is named after a saint, that feast day is a really big deal. A church's patronal feast day is normally celebrated with food and fellowship and a quick look to the past and the future.

Join us Sunday, November 22nd, as we worship together and celebrate the Feast of St. Andrew, our patronal feast day. God willing, we'll have bagpipes, our ingathering and blessing of the pledges, and a wonderful lunch following the service. Let's celebrate what God has done at St. Andrew's this year!

Sign up this Sunday: We will be having our special chili cook off and pie bake off! On St. Andrew's Day, bring your best chili, or try out that new pie you are thinking about inflicting upon your family for Thanksgiving. We'll have judges tasting everything and voting on a winner! Sign up in the Narthex this Sunday or email Kathleen.
