Shorewood Crossroads Fest - August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th


The 2024 Shorewood Crossroads Festival is almost here! Close out the summer with a weekend of music, carnival rides, crafts, cars, fireworks, and more on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at Cene's Four Seasons Park.


The fireworks show is on Saturday, August 3rd at 9:15 pm!

Family Campout - August 16th-17th


Come out for a night under the stars at Shorewood Park! Bring your tent, sleeping bag, camp essentials, and s'mores sticks. Each family will be assigned a campsite with enough room for their tents and activities!


A hot dog dinner with chips and water is included along with breakfast and s'mores.

Youth Co-Ed Flag Football - September


The Village co-ed flag football program follows the NFL Flag rule and focuses on teaching football the right way to children of all skill levels. We believe that football can help build self-esteem, coordination, athleticism, and more!


Registration is open now through September 2nd. If you're interested in being a coach or referee, we offer a discount if you help out the league.

Shorewood Crossroads Festival Parade - August 4th

The theme for this year's Crossroads Festival Parade on August 4th is Cheeseburger in Paradise, with Mayor Clarence "CC" DeBold as the 2024 Grand Marshal.


Parade Route: The Parade will begin on Geneva at Ravinia. The parade will travel west on Geneva and turn South on S River Road. The parade will then turn West on Seil Road and end at the intersection of Seil and Wynstone Drive. Roadblocks will be up from 11 am to 2 pm.

SAVE THE DATE - Shorewood Police Department's National "Afternoon" Out

Grab your calendars and set those reminders! The Shorewood Police Department is hosting their National "Afternoon" Out on September 21st from noon to 3 pm.


There will be a DJ, Foam Party, Bounce House, Firearms Simulator, Taser Demonstrations, and many other activities. Food and refreshments will also be available for purchase!

River's Edge Park: Vote for Your Favorite Challenge Course Equipment

If you haven't heard, the Village of Shorewood is seeking community input to determine the design of the new Challenge Course at River's Edge Park as part of Phase B construction in 2025.


River's Edge Park has a multi-phase plan. Phase A is in progress and includes a parking lot, playground, river access point to the DuPage River, picnic shelter, and volleyball courts. Additional amenities that will be included as part of the Phase B construction will be a bosque, pollinator garden, additional pavilion, and walking path.
