ON OUR PODCAST
In this episode, Charles Murphy talks about the alternatives to grass lawns, which ones look great, and which are easier to maintain.
A healthy growing environment starts with healthy soil. HyR BRIX Soil Alive replaces critical elements that have been depleted over time. As it releases nutrients, it aerates and relieves soil compaction, and enhances microbial activity. Great mid-season lawn and garden fertilizer as well. Low nitrogen still supplies nutrients but doesn’t push growth at a time when water is limited. High potassium levels assist with drought tolerance. Save 10% with Triangle10 at HyRBRIX.com.
MAKE A SPLASH WITH YOUR BIRDS
August 1-16 take 15% off Birdbath and related items.
So quickly…what is the number one thing you can do to attract the largest variety of new birds into your yard? If you thought water, you take the prize! Yes, it is most certainly water. All wild birds love water, and they find water irresistible. Ever see a bird playing? Just watch them around water. But a bird’s life is not all about play. A reliable source of clean water is indispensable for birds. Birds must be ready to fly at all times, and bathing is a critical part of maintaining feathers in top-flight condition.
