Hey Y'All Saints!
This Sunday we resume our regular Sunday morning schedule with
Attic Hour (Sunday School) at 10:20 a.m.
This week we will be having a conversation about how being a part of Christ's church can give us the courage to go against the grain when it comes to being ourselves and including others in our circles.
In case you missed our opening week on August 25, we also have a great slate of leaders in place for this year, listed below. You'll notice some new faces along with others more familiar. Each of these adults are incredibly gifted and caring individuals who look forward to forging meaningful relationships with the youth of All Saints' during Attic Hour this year!
6th and 7th Grades
Comer Yates and Hank Harris
8th and 9th Grades
Whitney Grimes and Barkley Toole
10th - 12th Grades
Brad Harder and Lauren Bidwell

Additionally, Sunday night is our next Sunday Night Live, from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. I hope you'll plan to join us for a fun evening of games, worship, and dinner. This week's fine cuisine will be comprised of "Walking Tacos!" Come and see!

Our Annual Parish Weekend at Kanuga Camp and Conference Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina is coming up October 4 - 6. This retreat offers fun for the whole family, including youth. In addition to multigenerational activities such as a scavenger hunt, kickball game, and worship, we will have a "Youth Track" for 6th - 12th graders, including a Friday night youth bonfire, Saturday morning adventure, and the option to stay in youth-designated cabins with our weekend counselors.
The weekend will conclude with a Sunday morning Eucharist and brunch with our keynote speaker, the Rt. Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, the former Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church and the first woman in that role. Some years we celebrate baptisms in the lake at that time. Please contact Zack ASAP if you have never been baptized and are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity.
Click the link below for more information, and feel free to email Zack with any youth-specific questions.
