New to Worthington Christian Church? Join Us for ’First Step’!
We believe the church is more than a place to attend on the weekend. It’s where community forms, lives are changed, and people encounter Jesus. We want you to feel like you belong here. That’s why we created "First Step."
During First Step, you’ll meet our team, hear the vision behind our church, and discover ways to move from attending to belonging—whether that’s joining a group, getting baptized, or serving alongside others.
| | |
📅 Mark Your Calendar:

Led by Outreach Minister Jay Scott, this event offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can ask honest questions and engage in meaningful discussions. Whether you’re exploring faith or looking to connect with others, you’ll find a warm welcome here!

We are so grateful for the countless ways she has served our church and know that her impact will be felt for years to come. Please join us in praying for Kristie as she begins this next season, and for our church as we seek God's wisdom in finding the right person to lead this ministry. We also encourage you to take a moment in the coming weeks to thank Kristie for her faithful service!
God has been incredibly faithful to our church, and we're excited for what He has in store for the future.

Our next session of GriefShare is Sunday, August 2 to Sunday, October 25 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in rm. 137.
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel on a daily basis.
GriefShare is a ministry designed to help you through this hurt.

WCC offers a 13-week GriefShare support group that meets on Sunday evenings. We are composed of a group of friendly, caring people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.
Each week, you will receive helpful information on grief-related topics, have time to share in a group discussion, and discuss how to apply these concepts through a personal workbook. There is a $20 fee for the class, which covers the cost of the workbook; you don’t have to purchase it until the first day of class. Scholarships are available upon request.
