Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ -

"At the heart of every Paulist is a refusal to give up on people, on culture, or on the age in which the Church is situated. This conviction flows from the belief that God is transforming human lives and history through the Holy Spirit, who guides creation toward its fulfillment in Christ."

— 2026 Paulist General Assembly Report

A representative gathering of Paulists meets every four years to pray, discern, and deepen our understanding of how the Holy Spirit calls our Paulist community to serve the Church. One of the striking statements describing our ministry and mission is that we don't give up on anyone. I hope that mission is reflected in the aspiration of our parish community. We invite you to read the report of our 2026 Assembly and join us in prayer for our community.

On June 30, 2026, I completed my second four-year term as pastor. I have been reappointed for another four-year term effective on July 1, 2026.

I look forward to the next four years especially in light of our Paulist ministry, a mission that our Paulist Assembly strikingly described:

"The dream for Paulist mission tomorrow is not simply that we preserve the works we have inherited, but that we receive our mission anew with courage, so that the gospel may be heard as what Hecker proclaimed it to be: glad tidings and great joy."

With great hope in the goodness of God, we continue our mission in our parish and school community to proclaim the joy of our faith.

Peace and blessings,

Father Gil

P.S. I return on Monday, July 13th.
