JDC Life Skills Event

Si Yu'os Ma'åse to GTA!

Michele Perez, Sr. Community Relations Manager, Brian Muna, Creative Director, and Sharon Davis, VP of Community Engagement and External Affairs at GTA, recently shared key insights on career opportunities in telecommunications. Their presentation highlighted various roles and advancements within the industry. Following the discussion, JDTC clients had the opportunity to tour the GTA Experience Center, where they explored cutting-edge technology and innovations firsthand.

In partnership with the Judiciary of Guam – Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Program, the Guam Chamber offers life skills workshops for youth (17 and below) who have progressed to their final stages of the program. We try to have life skills sessions once a month, which usually take place on a Friday from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm. We are seeking companies that would be interested in hosting a life skills workshop. Past life skills events include CPR training, business tours and operations; automotive 101; touring printing companies and seeing the back end of production; banking advice and beginner steps to opening and maintaining a savings or checking account; and wellness & well-being. The opportunities are endless!

If your company is interested in supporting this program by offering a life skills workshop, please email Rebekah Mendiola.
