LMM is excited to partner with The City Club of Cleveland in hosting the annual Charles R. See Forum on Reentry tomorrow, Friday, April 26, featuring keynote speaker Yusuf Dahl, Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Lafayette College & Co-Founder of Real Estate Lab.

Moderated by Signal Cleveland Reporter Stephanie Casanova, this discussion will focus on how to break down barriers through fair chance housing and empower individuals seeking to rebuild their lives post-incarceration.

Ticket sales for this City Club Friday Forum are now closed, but we encourage you to tune in for the live stream tomorrow at 12:00 PM. Folks attending in person are encouraged to arrive at 11:40 AM in order to view a short documentary with our keynote speaker in advance of the forum.

Yusuf met some of the Chopping for Change students today, who prepared delicious food for the luncheon. Yusuf shared a meal with LMM staff and community partners to learn more about the agency's reentry efforts and offer insight on his own professional and personal experiences.

LMM is excited to have joined the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Cuyahoga County Health and Human Services, the West Side Catholic Center and additional community partners for the first-ever Sweep Through the Market Cooking Competition!

This Reentry Week event showcased the culinary skillsets of LMM's Chopping for Change students (who won two rounds for taste in the challenge) and students from West Side Catholic Center's Workforce Development program and brought to light the importance of programs and services that uplift individuals to successfully reenter.

Thank to the volunteer groups who have supported the Men's Shelter throughout the month of April! With April being National Volunteer Month, it's only right that LMM shouts out some of the amazing teams below who have cooked and served meals and donated to the Men's Shelter.

The Men's Shelter on Lakeside Ave. recently hosted its monthly Super Provider Day, an event dedicated to showcasing and sharing information from local partners with shelter residents. The Men's Shelter partners with an array of organizations focused on education, case management, recovery, and more. Super Provider Day offers a unique opportunity for shelter residents to have face-to-face interactions with all of these organizations under one roof.
