CHAIRMAN'S CORNER

As we move into the final months of 2026, I’m reminded of just how much happens across the Florida Attractions Association in a relatively short period of time—and how much of it is driven by the involvement of our members.

This past quarter has been especially active. September brought Florida Attractions District Days, providing attractions across the state an opportunity to strengthen relationships with their local legislative delegations and tell the story of our industry. Most recently, we gathered at SeaWorld Orlando for Expedition FAA – Orlando: Welcoming Without Limits, where members and industry partners explored practical ways to make our attractions more accessible and welcoming to every guest. The quality of the program was outstanding, but equally valuable were the conversations, connections and sharing that took place among attendees.

That spirit of connection is at the heart of FAA. Whether through Peer Pods, webinars, Expedition FAA, our Leadership Academy or the Annual Conference, our goal is not simply to provide programs—it is to create opportunities for members to learn from one another, build relationships and find practical ideas they can take back to their organizations.

There is plenty ahead. Our work groups are already looking toward future educational programs and member engagement opportunities, the next class of the FAA Leadership Academy is taking shape, and planning continues for our 2027 Annual Conference in Fort Myers, June 7–10. Our Florida Attractions Scholarship Foundation will also soon launch its annual Holiday Silent Auction, providing another opportunity to support the future leaders of our industry.

Thank you for your continued participation in FAA. The strength of this Association comes from members who show up, share their experiences, ask questions and invest in one another. I look forward to seeing what we accomplish together in the months ahead.

Warm regards,

Your Florida Attractions Scholarship Foundation Update

Support the 2026 FASF Holiday Silent Auction

As Chairman of the Florida Attractions Scholarship Foundation, I’m pleased to invite our FAA members and friends to support the 2026 FASF Holiday Silent Auction by contributing an item, unique experience, tickets, service, or other donation.

The Holiday Silent Auction is one of the Foundation’s most important annual fundraisers and its impact is undeniable. In just ten years, thanks to the generosity of our members, partners, and supporters, FASF has awarded 96 student scholarships and 12 professional development grants, representing more than $123,000 invested directly into Florida’s future attractions and hospitality leaders.

Every donation helps us continue this momentum. Your support strengthens our scholarship and professional development programs while showcasing the incredible spirit of collaboration and generosity that defines our industry.

The deadline to donate is November 9 and the silent auction will kick off November 17th.

I hope you’ll consider supporting this year’s holiday auction with a donation. Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Berthiaume
