“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.” Acts 2:46-47

These verses are a small glimpse into the life of the early church. It captures the kind of community we want to be and the kind of community everyone is looking for.

This is the spirit behind our Member’s Dinner on November 1st. Just as the early church enjoyed being with each other and breaking bread together so we will gather to share a meal, enjoy fellowship and share the vision for our church.

What is the Member’s Dinner?

The Member’s Dinner is a time for us to enjoy fellowship with each other. Sunday mornings are filled with worship and Sunday school, as they should be. We often don’t have the time to slow down and just enjoy being with each other.

We will also take time to cast vision for our church and inform you on some important happenings in our church.

We also have one piece of business that we will present to you. The church leadership has been working on a statement of our church’s beliefs. We will present that at the meeting to be adopted, if the church is willing. Be on the lookout for an email next Monday with the beliefs for you to review and a link to submit any questions.

Who is the Member’s Dinner for?

It’s for members and anyone who is invested in the church. Per our bylaws, only those who have formally joined the church are able to officially vote on the beliefs. The meeting is for anyone who is a part of the church.

Why should I go?

Because this is your church. Because your presence matters. Because your investment matters. Because you are a vital part of the greater body that is our church. Because we like being together. Because Jalapenos Lemon Pepper is delicious. Because the Cowboys play at noon that day and well, they’re not very good anyways.

In all seriousness, I want you to come. Our leadership wants you to come. It’s important we gather together so we can continue to move forward together.

Our beloved Pastor Brady has been leading our church for A WHOLE DECADE! We want to honor him and all he has done on November 8th. More info to come! If you would like to make a donation to the event, put "Brady Celebration" into the memo. After all expenses are paid, any extra money will be given to Pastor Brady!
