The First Ever Ramsay Hunt Syndrome Patient Summit!

We cannot thank you enough for making our first ever Patient Summit:

Face Forward 2026 a success! Sharing information, connecting people from all over the world, coming together to elevate care for patients living with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

Here's a recap of how it went and how we can keep the momentum going...

What an Incredible Day!

On September 19, the Ramsay Hunt Syndrome Foundation proudly hosted its inaugural Face Forward Patient Support Summit in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

What began as a vision became something truly extraordinary: a room filled with patients, families, friends, medical professionals, and advocates united by a shared purpose.

Throughout the day, we witnessed meaningful conversations, heartfelt connections, and an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Seeing so many smiles, hearing personal stories, and watching members of our community connect reminded us exactly why this Foundation exists.

To everyone who attended, participated, and supported us: THANK YOU. You made this day possible.

Highlights From the Summit

From expert-led discussions to hands-on workshops and powerful patient perspectives, Face Forward provided an opportunity to learn, connect, and move forward together.

Attendees had the opportunity to:

  • Hear from leading medical professionals about Ramsay Hunt syndrome, treatment, and recovery.
  • Explore practical strategies for facial rehabilitation and managing synkinesis.
  • Connect with others who understand the challenges of living with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
  • Ask questions, share experiences, and build a stronger support network.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our speakers, panelists, moderators, sponsors, volunteers, and dedicated Board of Directors for making this inaugural event possible.

Most importantly, we thank the patients and loved ones who joined us. You are the heart of this Foundation.

While our team prepares the full collection of recordings, we're pleased to share this featured presentation with you.

We will be posting these in the upcoming month along with clips from the Summit- be sure to be following us on social media channels for the latest.

The Best Is Yet to Come
