Preaching Text: Luke 18:31-19:10

Three types of blindness. Three types of sight. As Jesus approaches Jerusalem, He takes another opportunity to invite us to pay attention and to follow. What might be getting in the way?  

Holy and mighty God, You continue to invite us to join Your work, to follow Your Son. You close the distance between heaven and earth, between us and You. Open our hearts. Do Your work in us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Our Lenten theme, Everything in Between, comes from A Sanctified Art which is a is a collective of pastors and artists in ministry who create resources for worshiping communities. Art will be featured throughout Lent and Holy Week. Click HERE to view artists' statements and HERE to view the Lenten devotional.

Only 1 week left! Join us on Wednesday evenings at 6PM now through April 9 in Fellowship Hall for Soup Suppers. Click HERE to sign up to bring a soup, salad, side or desert. We will follow with Holden Evening Prayer in the Sanctuary at 7PM.

• Make a way for the planet’s future in the sea and the wilderness, the mountains and plains, the tundra and wetlands. Repair habitats and sustainable ecosystems on, above, and beneath the ground.
• Where religious differences divide, bring together those who worship you in the name of Jesus Christ and those who call to you with different names. Guide interreligious dialogue, that faith may unite rather than divide communities.
• Restore those whose hope has been dampened through a health diagnosis, job or home loss, divorce, or death. Bring healing to those in need. May all who weep now sing songs of joy again.
• We thank you for artists who proclaim the gospel. Inspire music, poetry, and images that proclaim the new thing you are doing.
• Giving thanks for those who have died, we trust in the one who has made them his own: Christ Jesus, our crucified and risen Savior.

Receive the prayers of your people and draw all things together in your love, in the name of Jesus, who leads us from death to life. Amen.

On Good Friday, April 18 we are welcoming kids ages 3+ to experience a simple Last Supper, walk through the "Garden of Gethsemane", and reflect on Good Friday with a hands-on craft. Adults can drop kids off in Fellowship Hall at 6:45PM and enjoy some time of quiet reflection in the Sanctuary before Good Friday worship at 7PM. Contact Jess Swanson with any questions.
