The SLYC Board of Directors has approved updated Articles (click here to access) and Bylaw 1 (click here to access) prepared by our lawyers, Fox Law, Peterborough, which put the club in compliance with current legislation under the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA), which governs Stony Lake Yacht Club Inc. (SLYC). The Board of Directors' decision must be sanctioned by an affirmative vote of at least two-thirds of those members present at the meeting of members at the upcoming AGM.
