Dear Members and Friends,

We hope you enjoyed a joyful holiday season and had a wonderful start to the New Year! We would like to sincerely thank you for being a valued member of the GACC. Your continued engagement and commitment make our work possible and allow us to further strengthen the German-American business community.

If you have not done so, we invite you to renew your membership by logging into our member portal. Not a member yet? We would be delighted to connect and share more information about the benefits of joining our network.

As we look ahead, we also invite you to actively contribute your perspectives on the year to come. The German American Business Outlook (GABO) survey is now live, and we kindly encourage you to participate. Your input provides valuable insights into the current business climate, with survey results being presented at several events across our chapters throughout the first quarter of 2026.

We are also pleased to share a recent highlight from our regional network. Our Pittsburgh Chapter (GACC-PIT) was awarded $200,000 through the Shapiro Administration’s investment in advanced manufacturing training programs.

As we begin 2026, we look forward to an exciting year ahead, marked by a strong lineup of events and initiatives. These include our expansion to Boston, further strengthening our presence in the Northeastern region and deepening engagement with both existing and new members.

We are delighted to kick off the year with our New Year’s Reception & Business Luncheon on January 26th at the Harvard Club. The event will feature a keynote speech by the German Football Association (DFB), offering insights into Germany's road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Additional highlights this year include the second German American Executive Summit, taking place on March 5th - 6th in New Orleans, which will bring together the German-American business community from across the United States. We will also celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the GACC NY's J-1 visa designation - a milestone marking three decades of supporting transatlantic talent exchange and workforce development between Germany and the United States.

We very much look forward to welcoming you at our upcoming events and continuing to engage with you throughout the year.

Warm regards,

Your GACC NY Team
