Life Memberships – Not Just For Officers
Would you like to recognize the individuals who have supported you, your club and your district over the past year? In some districts and clubs, it is traditional to give an outgoing governor or club president a life membership in thanks for their dedication and hard work, but have you ever thought about how much a life membership might mean to the member who comes to all your meetings, sets up chairs, or volunteers to bake cookies for the club bake sale?
Show your appreciation for the dedicated members of your Club and District. Recognizing their contributions can improve morale, engagement, and retention.
For a one-time payment, Life Memberships are an effective way to honor any deserving member, not just outgoing officers!
-
Cost: A one-time payment of $888.50 (until Sept. 30)
-
Recipient Benefits: The honored member receives a certificate, a gold-colored membership card, a letter identifying who bestowed them the honor, and they will be charged reduced international dues.
The recognition items can be sent to a separate address to allow for a special presentation. To Apply, complete the nomination form here: https://forms.office.com/r/Hh3X0ezihE.

NOW
Formally welcoming new members with a NOW (New Optimists Welcome) meeting sends a clear message that people matter here. This recognition makes members feel seen and valued, increases engagement and boosts morale. Members are more likely to stay where their contributions are acknowledged!
