Dear Coalition for a DSP Living Wage:
Earlier this week, Governor Murphy delivered his first “State of the State” address where he talked about his commitment to policies that make New Jersey Stronger and Fairer. In six weeks, he will deliver his Budget Address, which gives us time to see the faces and hear the voices of the thousands of people like you across New Jersey who believe a Stronger and Fairer New Jersey is one where DSPs earn a living wage.
To that end, we are asking Coalition members to participate in a picture campaign to tell Governor Murphy that a Stronger and Fairer New Jersey means a Living Wage for DSPs.
Here’s what to do:

Have someone take a picture of you holding the template.

Upload and post:
Post the picture on your social media pages with the message below. Twitter is preferred, but Facebook will also work:

Feel free to write your own post, but please be sure to use #PayFair4DirectCare and tag @GovMurphy and the @NJDSPCoalition in your message, so that we can track and share.

Share the picture template with your colleagues, friends and family and encourage them to participate, tagging @GovMurphy and using #PayFair4DirectCare #StrongerFairerNJ #NotMinWageWork. The more faces online, the stronger our message to the Governor!
