How Do You Talk with Educated, Arrogant, Know-It-All Elites in a loving and compelling way?

Paul Faced a New Challenge on Mars Hill.

Paul was used to speaking to Religious people both Jews and barbarians, however, on Mars Hill in Athens, he was given the assignment of sharing Christ with the a group who supposedly sat at the summit of wisdom. He traveled to Athens and was asked to present his views to the Areopagus. This was the place where Socrates several centuries before had been sentenced to death for his views.

When he entered Athens, Paul was presented with a real contradiction of world views from those steeped in centuries of idolatry and those who taught philosophy. This was a minefield for any modern missionary and Paul did a masterful job. His message is a masterpiece in communicating with those who disagree.

We can learn a lot from him about how to relate to those who are trapped in modern day philosophy or mysticism. Don't miss this beautiful passage this Sunday.
