Dear MHAPP Members,

Hi, I'm Tom Conroy, and I'm truly honoured to step in as your new President of the Modular Housing Association Prairie Provinces.

I've been around this industry my whole life and involved with MHAPP in one way or another since 1991. Over these 35 years, I've watched our association grow from its early days into the strong, respected voice it is today for this amazing industry. I'm grateful for the hard work and talent of all the past presidents, board members, and others who helped build that strong foundation.

Our main goal hasn't changed. We want to make it easier to sell high quality, code compliant factory-built homes here in the Prairies. That means tackling regulatory barriers with a strong united voice and helping more people see modular construction for the smart, reliable option it really is.

This year, we'll be creating a fresh three-year strategic plan centered on three key areas: Advocacy, Education, and Operational Excellence. I'm looking forward to teaming up with the board and all of you to turn those ideas into real wins in 2026 and beyond.

Your experience and stories are what make us stronger whether you build the homes, sell them, transport them, run communities, or supply the materials. If you have thoughts, challenges you're facing, or successes worth sharing, please drop me a line. My inbox is always open.
