☀️The shortest month of the year is coming to a close and we are gearing up for spring. The sun is sticking around a bit longer these days and we are happy at the thought of the changing of seasons, eventually 😄

The Art of Framing
Concert Poster Gallery
We love framing all kinds of art work here at Frame of Mind. Prints, posters, momentos and keepsakes. One thing that seems to come through our door a lot are concert posters. Missoula has a love of music, we share that love at Frame of Mind and we get really excited about framing concert posters. We have featured a few in our framer's corners and on our website.

We put a lot of fun elements into our framing to make your art stand apart from the rest. Our designers are artists that love to work with color and bring out the most from your art work.

Art Classes
March brings us some new classes in the Art Lab.
We are pleased to welcome Marvin Pauls, local artist and retired high school art teacher as a guest educator.

Marvin will share with you the wonders of his amazing new mini-press in The Joy of Printmaking:Part I and Part II. Learn fun artsy words like "intaglio" and "drypoint" while crafting your very own mini-printing plate on 1 ½” x 2 ¼ bits of plexiglass. The fee for each class is $40, which includes all supplies. Just bring a pencil, a reference, your imagination, and your printmaking clothes or an apron (things WILL get messy).
Click here for all the details and to sign up for this class.
Local pro artist Nancy Seiler is back with

You'll learn some neat tricks to create a simple seascape with GOLDEN paints and mediums. $30 per seat (supplies included!), 10 seats available. All you have to bring is yourself, paper towels, and a water vessel of some kind.

Art & Music
Coldplay front-man Chris Martin was inspired to write the song by a Frida Kahlo painting titled Viva la Vida.
The singer-songwriter was inspired by Kahlo’s perseverance in the face of polio, spinal injury, and chronic pain, he told Rolling Stone, saying,
“She went through a lot of pain, of course, and then she started a big painting in her house that said Viva la Vida; I just loved the boldness of it.”
