IT WAS PRE-K INDEPENDENCE DAY AT DES

Last week was a BIG day for DES Pre-K students. They took an important step toward independence as they walked to their classrooms themselves for the first time! It may seem like a small moment, but for our youngest students, it’s a BIG accomplishment! They are learning to be confident, responsible, and independent as they begin taking ownership of their morning routines. We are very proud of our students for being brave and demonstrating that they are ready to take on this new adventure! 👊👏💪 #TeamDadeGa

DAVIS STUDENTS PREPARE FOR 4-H ACTIVITIES

The Davis 5th-grade students recently met with 4-H coordinator, Mrs. Laura Beth Cunningham, and learned what 4-H is all about. Students were introduced to the four H’s, which include Head, Heart, Hands, and Health, and how 4-H helps young people build leadership skills, serve their communities, make healthy choices, and learn by doing. Dade County Schools appreciates the partnership with the Dade County Extension Office and is looking forward to watching our students grow with 4-H! ☘️ 👊👏💪 #TeamDadeGa

DMS MAD SCIENTIST EXPERIMENTING

These 8th-grade students at Dade Middle School recently participated in a science lab activity experimenting with chemical and physical changes. DMS TO HAVE TOUR OF GA PARENT MEETING

Dade Middle School will host an informational parent meeting for 7th- and 8th-grade parents interested in participating in the Tour of Georgia trip in May of 2027. The meeting will be held on September 23rd at 5:00 P.M. in the DMS Cafeteria. 👊👏💪 #TeamDadeGa
