What is your Intention?
April 2022 Newsletter
Greetings!

“The power of intention is the power to manifest, to create, to live a life of unlimited abundance, and to attract into your life the right people at the right moments.”
— Wayne Dyer
When was the last time that you reflected on your purpose in life and recommitted to what is most meaningful to you?

It can be hard to remember to continue to take the time to intentionally set ourselves on our most desired paths — especially given our fast paced world and the extreme global crises we have been facing lately. I encourage you to take some time and space for yourself to do just this.

Reflect upon and renew your dreams, your hopes, and your greater purpose. Renewing our own unique purposes and reconnecting with the guiding forces within us can help us to make better choices and take positive action in the face of stress and challenge; and in the process contribute to the actualizing a healthy and peaceful world.

Once we have connected with purpose, intentionality enables us to breathe life into what moves us, what we value, and what we want to cultivate. It is up to us to create the experiences we'd like to see reflected in our world, even in the smallest of ways. Discovering and holding clear intentions can help us stay the course.

Wishing you an intentional April,

The Power of Intention

When consciously set, intentions provide a powerful anchor that helps us to remember who we are, our goals & desires, and what's most important to us. They connect us to our authentic selves and act as a guiding force for our thoughts and actions. Setting intentions and committing to them are effective tools for self-growth, positive change, and joyful, purposeful living.

Horse Wisdom
Because they tune into congruence, or the lack thereof, horses are excellent barometers of true intention. Horses let us know whether what we say we want is actually in alignment with our deeper self and what we are doing.

Joan* got to experience this first hand when she came to Stand InBalance to work on leaving an unhealthy work environment and finding a new job. Despite being "certain" that she wanted to leave her organization she wasn't having any luck with a new job. In her second session with the horses, Joan created an area that represented what she wanted in a new company. However, when she was tasked with moving her horse into the "new job" he refused to enter the space....read more
In the Workplace
When setting intentions, have you ever considered specific intentions for your workplace?
Often, we'll set career goals but neglect our intentions for the day to day happenings we encounter at work. Goals are different than intentions. An intention can be defined as an act or instance of determining mentally upon some action or result.
Intentions can serve as powerful guidelines when interacting with ourselves and others in any scenario. Read on for six benefits of intention setting at work.
Success Stories
"My experience at Stand InBalance taught me that I have value to the world just by being. I don't have to be "doing" for someone else to be valuable. I was just being with the horse, and he followed my lead.
It is a good investment in yourself to spend the day outside with the horses, learning about yourself and how you interact in the world." ~ Julie
“I was surprised at how the horses could teach us about our work place behaviors and attitudes. The time at Stand InBalance with the horses gave us all the opportunity to see each other in action. This experience gave me time to learn more about myself. I learned that we all have things to work on with leadership, taking direction, and communication. I became aware of my own strengths and the areas that could use improvement.” ~ Ross
