We spoke with Mike to learn how their team helps businesses navigate complex tech challenges and embrace innovation.


There are a lot of IT companies out there—what sets EIS apart from the rest?

What’s one thing you wish more people understood about the role of IT in driving business growth?


IT isn’t just a support function; it is a growth engine. Too often, IT is seen as the “fix-it” department, but when done right, IT is a strategic driver that helps businesses with different functions: streamline operations, enable scalability, enhance customer experience, protect revenue, and much more. Companies that invest in IT as a business partner are the ones that move faster, adapt better, and win more often.



In your view, what’s the most common mistake businesses make when it comes to IT strategy?



The most common mistake businesses make with IT strategy is treating it as an afterthought instead of a core part of their business plan.


Too many companies only think about IT when something breaks—or when it’s time to cut costs. That reactive mindset leads to short-term fixes, outdated systems, and missed opportunities for innovation.

 

Start treating IT like a strategic partner, not a utility. When you bring IT into the core of your business planning, it becomes a launchpad for growth, innovation, and competitive edge.



Everyone’s talking about AI—how is EIS helping clients use it in ways that actually make a difference?



We help our clients use AI to solve real problems. This means identifying use cases where AI can actually boost productivity, improve service, or create competitive advantage.


Examples include- 

  1. Automating repetitive tasks such as ticket reporting and data entry.
  2. Enhancing cybersecurity, which will detect threats faster than human monitoring.
  3. Improving customer support with smart chatbots and Ai- Driven help desk tools.
  4. Delivering Better Insights through predictive analytics and machine learning for forecasting, sales, and operations.

 

Our goal is always the same: to make AI actionable. We guide businesses from strategy to execution.

What’s a typical day like for you as VP, and what do you enjoy most about working with your team?



As VP of Sales, no two days are the same and that’s what I love about it.


A typical day is a mix of strategy and hustle:


I might start with internal check-ins to align on goals, jump into a client meeting to solve a challenge, then shift into deal reviews or pipeline planning. In between, I’m mentoring reps, brainstorming with marketing, or building new relationships to drive growth.


What I enjoy most, hands down, is working with the team. We’ve built a culture that’s competitive but collaborative—everyone’s driven, but we’re pulling in the same direction. I love watching people grow, win, and get better every week. There’s nothing more energizing than helping someone close a big deal or seeing a client truly succeed because of the work we’ve done together.


Helping clients grow their business is the best feeling. It’s fast-paced, it’s challenging, and it’s a blast. I wouldn’t want it any other way.
