Volume 8, Issue 43

October 30, 2026

This Sunday is All Saints' Sunday when we celebrate and remember the saints, naming those who have passed within the year, and reflecting on the faith they so freely shared with us. It is a day filled with both grief and gratitude, as we acknowledge the pain their absence leaves in our lives while, at the same time grateful for the love they gave us, and the legacy they leave us.

In chapter 12 verses 1 and 2, the writer of Hebrews reminds us that the saints never truly leave us — we are surrounded by this great cloud of witnesses cheering us on from the heights of heaven to run our own race with perseverance. Nor are we left to run the course by our own strength; instead, we look to Christ, himself, drawing on his power to keep strong in the faith.

I invite you to join me in worship this Sunday at 9:00 or 11:05 am as we celebrate the saints who kept the faith, and look to them and Christ for strength and courage to carry on!

Pax,

Pastor Todd
