Upstate NY is Beautiful!

The drive to Syracuse was beautiful. I was able to see the leaves starting to change and the weather was perfect. The temps were in the 60s and low 70s with no humidity. I only wish the temps in NC stayed cool. We are back to warmer temps and that means the AC is back on.

Syracuse Vegfest went great. We had a decent turnout and vendors sold out, even with a rainy day the people came out to support. The community in Syracuse needs this festival and I am happy that I was able to bring it to them.

The March for Animals finished up their two week journey from Albany to North Rose, NY, the location of Marshall Labs. I was able to join them on Friday for their protest outside the DA's office of Wayne County. There's a whistleblower report that they tried to deliver, but it fell on deaf ears. On 9/27 close to a thousand people marched to Marshall Labs and made it very clear that testing on animals isn't necessary and is an outdated science. The over 14K beagles and over 30K other animals don't deserve the life they were bred into.

I have to take a moment to give kudos to Gretchen Primack and Ella Magers. The two powerhouses behind this march. What they were able to accomplish is spectacular. I'm thankful to have been able to be a small part of it.

Don't forget to get your tickets to the fundraising dinner coming up on October 11. House of Mofos might be setting up at Purr Cup Cafe on October 10 in Raleigh, NC. I'll let you know about it next week if it gets confirmed.

Have a great week. I'm off to see my Nephew get married.

Important Stuff Right Here

Sip N Spice Fundraising Dinner (click to get tickets) is coming up on October 11. We then head to Asheville on October 25 then Marietta on November 7.

Vendors, get registered for the fall festivals so you don't miss out!

I created a poll that I am asking for serious feedback. Why do you attend the festivals? What gets you out the door on the event day? What are you looking forward to the most? What is missing that would tip the scales? We especially want to hear from you if you are not vegan yet. How do we get more people in the door that are not vegan?

We are looking for Brand Ambassadors. Fill out this form and we will be in touch soon!

We created a Fourthwall shop. You can click this link to see what designs we have up. There's t-shirts, hoodies, and long sleeve shirts in many colors to choose from. If you love pickleball, I have some designs for you to sport while playing. Every purchase supports the nonprofit. Thanks for checking it out.

Whimsy Wares has been updated with all new plate and bowl designs. These adorably themed designs would be super fun to eat off of or out of or just to have on a decorative shelf in your house. Remember, all of the designs can be customized with a name. Check out the website and let us know what you think or even better, we hope you love them so much that you place an order. All funds go towards the nonprofit.

Serve up some joy at your next meal with the most energetic member of our Whimsical Society: The Pickleball Pup! Perched proudly on a leafy oak branch, this cheerful, floppy-eared golden pup is ready for court side action, sporting a dapper black academic cap while holding a beautifully detailed pickleball paddle in its mouth. Perfectly capturing a love for the game and a classic, scholarly style, this piece brings an instant smile to the table.

The plates and bowls are unbreakable! They are also free from any chemicals!

You can also design your own plate. Go have fun designing. If you need help, reach out.
