Spring yard trimmings recycling starts next week. The 6-week Yard Trimmings Recycling is March 31 – May 9 this year, when your trimmings will be picked up weekly during your trash pick-up day.

Yard waste won't count toward your bulk items limit
There will be no limit on paper bags filled with yard trimmings
Yard waste won't be sent to the landfill

Until this time, please limit the number of additional items to 7 on your trash day and remember to keep leaves out of the storm drains!

Stage 3 Water Conservation Measures

The City of Cedar Park has moved into Stage 3 Water Conservation Measures, which includes a change in residents’ mandatory outdoor watering schedules. Under Stage 3, Cedar Park water customers may water ONE designated day per week, effective March 1, 2025.

The Stage 3 Water Conservation Measures are aimed to meet the LCRA's call to reduce the City’s overall water consumption now that the combined storage levels have fallen below the threshold in the Drought Contingency Plan.

A Proclamation Recognizing Ramadan And Eid al-Fitr, February 28 - March 30, 2025

The most recent City Council meeting took place on March 27, 2025.

Highlights included:

City Manager Report: Randy Lueders, Director Of Engineering And Capital Projects provides an update On The Capital Improvement Program Projects. View Presentation
City Council Members continue to prioritize public and pedestrian safety with a resolution authorizing an agreement for professional engineering services with Garver, LLC for traffic signal design services at the intersections of Brushy Creek Road at Ranch Trails and Brushy Creek Road at Wilson Ranch Place.
A presentation on the recent audit of the City’s financial documents and processes was reviewed during yesterday’s City Council meeting. Weaver's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2024, showed that the City of Cedar Park had been issued an unmodified or "clean" opinion, the highest level of assurance given on its financial statement.
Council members approved a proposed resolution to support a CTRMA study of Traffic and Revenue regarding the Ronald Reagan Expansion Project and to determine the feasibility of adding the road to their system.
