Hello IISE Nashville Chapter,
We are pleased to present our speaker for Thursday January 18th at 6 pm who has made an impact in the State of Tennessee services provided with the execution of Lean and Six Sigma. Please join us and welcome Austin Wouters.
Introducing:
Austin Wouters is the Executive Director of Continuous Quality Improvement for Tennessee's Department of Children's Services. The offices under Austin's purview include Quality Improvement, Process Optimization, Accreditation, Foster Home and Provider Quality, Provider Monitoring and Evaluation, Due Process, Customer Relations, Policy, and Data.
Prior to working at DCS, Austin was one of the State's internal consultants, helping increase efficiency and value for all 23 departments through strategic planning, project management, and LEAN events. Prior to this Austin was an economist for the State's legislature, where he built forecasting models for all tax and lottery revenue streams and forecasted any revenue or expenses from any proposed legislation.
Austin spends any spare time he has taking his two daughters (3 years old and 5 months old) outside to play!
