It is hard to believe that the holidays are behind us as we embark on the winter months with sunshine and 70 degrees outside. I would like to thank the Board of Directors and the Chamber members I have come in contact with so far for the warm and sunny welcome I’ve received. I look forward to meeting every member of the Chamber to learn about them and their business and how the Chamber has or can benefit them. One of the things I value about this position of Director is the opportunity to collaborate and partner with others in Perquimans County. I stand in awe of all that has been accomplished and am energized and motivated to see where we can go together.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the Annual Dinner/Silent Auction/Murder Mystery at the Crawfish Shack on January 24th from 5-9pm. It will be wonderful to connect with friends and neighbors, meet new folks and enjoy the delicious food prepared by TNT Catering, the music provided by Mr. Gene Tick, the lovely venue and of course playing out our murder mystery. So put on your detective hats, purchase your tickets (and sign up for a Sponsorship if possible) and let’s enjoy a fun night in Perquimans County together!
