Cafeteria News

Last week, at Independence Middle School, an exhilarating mystery ingredient competition unfolded with a twist: all 12 ingredients were delivered in a single box, their identities shrouded in secrecy until the moment of unboxing. Our two esteemed chefs, Barb Basnett and Helene Casserlie, eagerly awaited the challenge ahead. As the box was unveiled, anticipation filled the air. Basnett and Casserlie inspected the array of ingredients before them, their minds racing with possibilities. With determination and creativity, they set out to craft South of the Border recipes that would dazzle the student and staff judges and delight the audience.
