Pray for our Guatemala Mission Team
Our mission team is leaving this Sunday for Guatemala and will get to visit two of our long-time mission partners, Christ Child's Nest and Transitions. They will see firsthand the life-changing ministry taking place through your prayers, support, and partnership.
The Mission Team consists of Melissa Adler, Alden Fowkes, Connor Fowkes, Sara Fullerton, Johanna Parr, Boo Padgett, Frank Procopio, Meg Procopio, George Shields, Kathy Shields, and Joy Thompson.
The team has asked for prayer for the following:
- Safe travels and God's protection throughout the trip
- For God to expand our capacity to love and serve others
- For God to prepare our hearts to listen, learn, and enter each experience with humility
- Flexibility and grace as plans change or unexpected challenges arise
- For God to use this trip to help us grow, broaden our perspectives, and deepen our understanding of His work in the world
Thank you for your continued support of our mission team and mission partners in Guatemala!

Count Me In!
If you haven’t completed your 2027 Commitment Card yet, it’s not too late! You can still bring your completed card to the church office or complete the card confidentially online by clicking below.
"And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And He called his disciples to him and said to them, 'Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, put in everything she had to live on.’'"
Mark 12: 42-44
What if we all took one step up in our giving? What if we had the faith and obedience of the widow? What if we freely give, and then leave the rest up to God?
Will you say, ‘Count Me In!’ for 2027?

Celebrating 30 Years of Transitions!
Congratulations to Transitions, one of our ministry partners in Guatemala, on 30 years of transforming lives!
Since 1996, Transitions has helped thousands of people with disabilities gain mobility, independence, and dignity through wheelchairs, prosthetics, and employment opportunities. To celebrate this milestone, Transitions recently opened a new physical therapy clinic where wheelchair and prosthetic users can build strength, develop skills, and gain greater independence.
We celebrate this exciting new chapter and give thanks for three decades of life-changing ministry! We're also thrilled that our Guatemala mission team will get to celebrate with Transitions in person next week. Please continue praying for our mission team and for Transitions to have many more years of fruitful service.
