Dear Nevada Educators:

Are you ready to showcase results from, or planning for, your classroom, school or central office division and share with your peers so that we can all learn from each other? Now's your chance to shine!

NASA is holding our 2022 Spring Conference at Harvey's Hotel in Lake Tahoe on Monday June 13 and Tuesday June 14, 2022 from 8:00 AM - 5:15 PM on both days. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and two open bar cocktail receptions with appetizers will take place at the conclusion of both conference dates too!

ALL EDUCATORS ARE WELCOME!
NASA CONFERENCES ARE OPEN TO ANY EDUCATOR!!!

THE THEME FOR THE CONFERENCE IS:
"Renew, Reflect and Reimagine:
How to Plan and Prepare for a Post-pandemic School Year."

THOSE SELECTED TO PRESENT RECEIVE:
  • Free admission to the conference, which includes 1 corresponding license renewal credit (that equates to 15 hours).

  • 5 CUs in CCSD for non-administrators - unlimited for non-administrators.

  • 2 salary advancement hours for CCSD Administrators - limit 10 hours per advancement cycle for CCSD administrators.

  • Hours toward salary advancement in Clark, Washoe and most Nevada School Districts.

  • Attendance at any one (1) NASA .5 credit workshop of your choice during the 2022/23 school year.

The application process is simple!

Email Dr. Jeffrey Geihs, NASA Executive Director (jgeihs@nasanv.org), the following ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2022 at 5 PM if you would like to be considered:

  1. The title of your 60 minute presentation.
  2. The description (not to exceed 150 words) of your presentation.
  3. The short biographies of you and also any of those that are presenting with you (not to exceed 150 words each).
  4. The titles of presenters.
  5. Your headshot and the headshot(s) of any of those presenting with you.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO DESCRIPTIONS THAT HIGHLIGHT RESULTS, OR POTENTIAL RESULTS, FOR STUDENTS!

*** If selected, your presentation time will be assigned on June 13 or 14, 2022***

*** If your presentation is selected, the information submitted will be used to publicize the 2022 NASA Spring Conference!***
