Traffic Safety

Update on Speed Bumps

Anyone driving through Sincuidados recently has likely encountered newly installed speed bumps near the Dixileta Gate. These installations, initiated by the HOA Board, are part of a strategic trial to address persistent concerns over traffic safety within our community.

The impetus for this trial stems from a troubling pattern of traffic violations, particularly the failure of some drivers to observe stop signs fully. Such behavior has resulted in numerous near-miss incidents, underscoring the need for decisive action. Speed bumps are designed to mitigate these risks by reducing vehicle speed, fostering a safer driving environment. However, the permanency of these measures hinges on our collective feedback.

Whether you've driven over the speed bumps and formed an opinion, or simply observed their impact on traffic flow, your perspective is important. We invite you to share your insight with the HOA Board at https://sincuidados.org/staff/.

It's worth noting that not all residents have had the opportunity to experience these changes firsthand, making the input of those who have more critical.

In conjunction with this feedback, we encourage residents and visitors to follow all road safety practices within our community.

  • Respect 'Traffic Calming' Measures: Slow down when approaching these areas to ensure safety for all residents.

  • Watch for Walkers: Always be on the lookout for pedestrians and pets.

  • Be Mindful of Residential Driveways: Drive cautiously near residential driveways. Vehicles may be entering or exiting.

  • Communicate: Report any observed traffic violations or safety concerns to the HOA or community management.

  • Adhere to Speed Limits: Lower speed limits are posted to ensure the safety of all residents. Remind contractors and friends that these limits are essential to prevent accidents.

HOA BUDGET

The Sincuidados HOA Board has released the proposed budget for 2025. It outlines the financial planning and allocations for the upcoming year and is up for approval during the next Board meeting, scheduled for September 19th.

Residents are encouraged to review it to understand how the community’s funds will be utilized. The budget covers essential areas such as maintenance, security, landscaping, and community amenities, ensuring that Sincuidados remains a well-maintained and secure environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for residents to familiarize themselves with the financial strategies that will guide the community in 2025. For those who prefer a physical copy, a limited number will be available at the Pima gatehouse.

Your input is valuable, and the Board welcomes any feedback or questions you may have before final approval.

Is There Sincuidados Email in Your Spam Folder?

Don’t Miss Important Email: Check Your Spam Folder

We've heard from some residents that they aren’t receiving important email from the Sincuidados HOA. However, when we check our records, we see that the emails were indeed sent. The issue may be that these messages may be hidden in a spam folder.

Spam filters can sometimes mistakenly flag legitimate email, causing it to be routed away from your inbox. This is especially common with bulk email, notices, or newsletters. Even if you haven’t experienced this issue before, it’s a good idea to check regularly.
