Our 36th season of Ski Challenge had its challenges, but we were able to make it happen!
REGULAR SEASON
We had close to 5,200 regular season results throughout the season. This was about 10% down from last season. Not bad considering last year was a great year and this year we were dealing with the pandemic. Buck Hill Thursday and Sunday AM were just about tied for the most racers recording results for the season.
CHAMPIONSHIPS
Our total number of racers at Giants Ridge was down about 13% from last year. We were excited to have some racers from Afton, Welch and Granite Peak join us this year. Unfortunately, many of their own events were cancelled this season due to COVID.
A BIG thank you to our participating ski areas and their staff at Buck Hill, Wild Mountain and Giants Ridge. Also, thank you to all our participating Sponsors. We couldn't do it without our great Ski Challenge staff and most of all, we thank all the Ski Challenge racers for all your support and continued participation.
We are looking forward to skiing out at Jackson Hole for the last week they are open, April 5th through the 10th. It sounds like quite a few Ski Challenge members have already gone or will be making their way out there too! We are so happy that skiing is still happening! We can't wait for next season and are excited to get back to "normal"!
