Dementia Wise and Duke University

ComForCare Home Care provides complete advanced dementia care training through the DementiaWise™ program to ensure top quality in-home services.

ComForCare has engaged independent research by Duke University Occupational Therapy Division and Partnerships for Health to better understand the program’s effectiveness. DementiaWise was found to help caregivers feel better equipped and empowered to collaboratively care for clients living with dementia and their families (self-efficacy) and have greater job satisfaction.

DementiaWise has taken meaningful, influential strides compared to

other dementia training programs. Our “control” participants did have other training in their careers, and many shared “this was by far the best and most applicable to [their] home care work with clients living with dementia.”
