Greetings!

We had an unexpected treat in having Maggie and Sully come and stay with us for four days. She was supposed to have a sorority reunion in Spokane, but with the wildfires, couldn't go, so she came to Seattle instead. We loved it. Sad that she missed her friends but we benefited and all of her friends were safe.

Aiden, my oldest grandson, was feeding Sully, and it was quite a reversal. Maggie, when she was about Aiden's age, was feeding Aiden a bottle.

And Auntie Brooke couldn't wait to get her hands on this little guy. Brooke is a labor and delivery nurse at Providence, so she sees lots of babies, but when it's your own nephew, it's special.

Grandma couldn't resist, found this little black baseball hat and he looked so adorable! Missed that little guy.

Celebrating Brooke's birthday at the Angry Crabshack in Everett, cake at their apartment and then celebrated again on Sunday!

We enjoyed our Thursday evening at the Everett Marina to listen to the country singer Antwane Tyler. It was a great night and tons of people.

Can't beat snuggles!

Went to a wedding of Brooke's best friend and had a lovely evening.

Molly did a great job on my eyeliner and extending an eyebrow that had been bugging me forever!! She was welcoming, professional, safety-conscious and very personable and I would recommend her and her services to anyone desiring permanent makeup!!

Well, it was definitely a quieter month or so I thought but life is always exciting!

September proves to be more of the same!

Heading to Montana for a long weekend to visit friends and then on to Phoenix, AZ for a 3 day SPCP convention learning from the BEST of the BEST! Excited to be there - more info and photos to follow!
