#5 FTC Ban on Noncompete Agreements Overturned

On August 20th, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas overturned the FTC's ban on employment noncompete agreements. This ruling is a significant win for businesses and workers, as non-compete clauses foster innovation and promote fair market competition. While noncompete clauses continue to be banned in California, this ruling presents an opportunity for that to be challenged in the future.
