Loving Me Some Simple Mindless Knitting

After working multiple cable and colorwork charted patterns this year, I spent my week working on mindless knitting and sewing projects. I discovered the Nevali Hat pattern and have already knit 2 hats!

I had a happy surprise this week when I received a skein of hand-spun yarn from Kristi. Kristi is a member of the Thursday night zoom group and a talented spinner and fiber artist. When the new Hand-Dyed Merino Spinning Fiber from Wonderland Yarns arrived a few weeks ago, I sent her a braid and asked her to spin a skein for the shop. The result is gorgeous and so soft! And she really loved working with the fiber! Stop in to touch it yourself!

The Central Coast Yarn Crawl is only 2 weeks away and it's going to be fabulous! There are 8 shops participating this year and a grand prize valued at $700! JUL Designs just released 2 new stud buttons designs: Ainu and Ginko. She has really outdone herself with these new gorgeous designs. Each Stud Button Set includes 3 buttons.

These Stud Buttons are my Go-To for completing my shawls and cardigans. I seldom create button bands anymore ever since I discovered these studs! And all JUL products are Handmade Fair Trade in Indonesia & the United States which I love.

Journals for Your Crochet and Knit Projects

Will recently discovered these beautiful Crochet & Knit Project Journals and recommended that we should sell them in the shop. What a brilliant idea! These journals are gorgeous and the perfect notebook for keeping your projects and yarn swatches organized and tracked.

Each journal also provides the space for stitching and color work designs to be created, adjusted and duplicated. Marie Kondo would approve.
