No man can impart to another true understanding; he can only aid others in overcoming their errors which stand in the way of perceiving the truth. Only when the light of truth becomes manifest in the soul, will true understanding arise to illuminate the mind with real self-knowledge.
Thus, after Gautama Siddhartha had become a "Buddha," which means an "enlightened one," he said: "This knowledge of truth was not among the doctrines handed down to me, nor was it told to me by another; but within myself arose the light; within myself the eye of the understanding was opened; within myself the truth revealed itself."
I have been to many spiritual groups but found much talk and belief making and little in the way of going within to find the self as the divine light.
A path taught in Dzogchen by the second Buddha by the way meditation, achieving the pristine awareness, cutting the delusions of the mind and allowing the light to settle in the mind. Many assume this connection can be achieved by intellect but do not realize that they are simply feeding their egos.
Join me in learning the clear path to recognizing the light within, the self-recognition of truth, the cosmological dualism, the repudiation of material creation as evil, and the existence of the divine spark in humans.
