Will this year’s Masters be as nail-biting and exciting as Rory McIlroy’s win in 2025? Rory McIlroy secured his career Grand Slam in impressive fashion, prevailing over a strong late effort by Justin Rose with a birdie on the first playoff hole.
McIlroy became only the sixth individual to achieve the career Grand Slam, joining Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods, and is only the second, alongside Sarazen, to complete the Grand Slam at the Masters Tournament.
