Praise:

Prayer:

Pray for church planting projects across the country and for the financial, logistical, and material support needed for these new churches. Pray for our theological training programs and ministry workshops aimed at developing biblically sound, theologically trained, and missionally-minded leaders. Pray for healthy partnerships across the denomination to further collaboration, mutual encouragement, and sharing of resources among churches, training centers, and regional leaders.

Praise:

Join us in giving thanks for the leadership of former BWA Vice President Michael Okwakol and for continued Gospel impact from the BWAid grant initiatives in Uganda.

Prayer:

Join us in praying for continued opportunities to minister to the thousands of refugees in Uganda. Pray for provision of resources to meet the substantial need, including solutions for clean drinking water.

We also join in prayer this week for the people of Djibouti and Somalia.

Giving Thanks for the Baptist World Congress

Join us in giving thanks for the more than 3,000 people from over 100 countries and territories who participated in the 23rd Baptist World Congress. We are grateful for all the ways we saw God move in and through us. Pray that the Lord will fan the flame of this momentum as we unite in an Acts 2 Movement across our 178,000 churches. A Prayer for Unity

O God Eternal, good beyond all that is good, fair beyond all that is fair,

in whom is calmness and peace:

reconcile the differences which divide us from one another and bring us back into the unity of love which may bear some likeness to your divine nature.

Grant that we may be spiritually one,

both within ourselves and with one another,

through the grace, mercy and

tenderness of your son, Jesus Christ.
