Habitat Happenings — July 2026

Summer is off to a busy start at Habitat for Humanity of Central Lane. We hit a home run with the Eugene Emeralds on June 25, where the newest Habitat Homeowner threw the 1st pitch. Ticket sales helped support our Ramp Up Challenge and future accessibility ramp projects. Thanks for attending and helping fill PK Park with housing heroes! Not able to join? You can still Donate Today!

Habitat volunteers have been busy staining fences at the Fischer Village site in Springfield. At the ReStore, we hosted a group from Morgan Stanley and we even had a special visit from local Congresswoman Val Hoyle and her team. It's amazing what we can accomplish together!

On June 27, we celebrated shoppers with an event-filled ReStore Customer Appreciation Day. There was a painting demonstration from Visions Paint, J&J Java Cart kept folks going with coffee creations, and our partners at the Toolbox Project were busy at work for our first ever Repair Fair. Volunteers helped fix over 15 items, including sewing repairs, fixing a few beloved lamps, and some bike tune-ups. This work keeps things out of the waste stream and builds community and shared knowledge. Thanks to everyone who joined in on the fixing fun!

Don't miss our next fun Summer event on Sunday, August 23rd from 1-3pm. Join us for the 5th Annual Ice Cream Social and support housing solutions in Lane County. Details below.

Finally, thanks to local groups like Central Presbyterian Church and Eugene Metro Rotary Club for hosting a recent Habitat Presentation. Even long term partners can learn new things. If you're interested in having Habitat present to your club/group/business, reach out today!

Join us for the 5th annual Ice Cream Social on Sunday, August 23rd from 1:00-3:00pm. Located at the ReStore in Eugene on 1210 Oak Patch Rd (just off W 11th).
