It is as easy as picking up your cell phone. The Safe Haven for Newborns Community Service Mobile App offers students five projects they can select from to earn the credit hours. The high school or college student can earn community service hours from any location in the state of Florida. The student will earn their much-needed hours and learn about the mission of A Safe Haven for Newborns; who we are and what we do.
By performing Community Service Hours, students develop real-world life skills, learn to develop empathy for others, become an active member of the community, and make a lasting, positive impact on society. In other words, Make a Difference in their life and the life of others. And, the non-profit, A Safe Haven for Newborns, wins because it now has a champion who is spreading the message to the scared young mother-to-be that she has options. She has options for herself and her unborn child. She is not alone.
Public awareness is saving lives. To date, 316 precious newborns are now in loving homes with their forever families. Please consider sharing this with students in your communities and help us spread the message, together we will Make a Difference.
