How does climate change make us feel?

Rebecca Hersher

2023 was the hottest year ever recorded. That might make you feel sad, or angry. Or perhaps anxious, or guilty. Scientists feel the same way, and are studying it. NPR science reporter Rebecca Hersher brings us their findings tomorrow afternoon on All Things Considered starting at 4 p.m.

On the topic of the hottest year on record, the BBC is working on a climate year in review special. KGOU will broadcast it as our Sunday Radio Matinee on Dec. 24 at 12 p.m.

BBC correspondents look ahead to elections and more in 2024

BBC World Service logo

2024 will see nearly half of the world's population going to the polls. Elections will be held in the U.S., U.K., South Africa, India, Russia, Pakistan, Mexico and Venezuela. How will the results of some of those elections shift the geopolitical tectonic plates? And will the economic picture improve? Big questions, but some of the BBC's most knowledgeable reporters can provide plenty of context, background and analysis. Tune in for the Sunday Radio Matinee on Dec. 31 to hear their predictions.
