Our team is hard at work preparing for the upcoming school supply drive season, a crucial time when we rally the community to ensure every student in Hillsborough County has the tools they need to succeed. Your donations of school supplies make a significant impact, providing essential resources that foster learning and growth for our students.

We are excited to announce our annual EmpowerED luncheon, featuring Dr. Clayton Nylund, Hillsborough County's Teacher of the Year and a finalist for Florida's Teacher of the Year. Dr. Nylund's commitment to education and innovative approach are a testament to the excellence we aim for in our schools. We eagerly anticipate the valuable insights and inspiration he will bring to our event. Additionally, we are honored to have Van Ayres, Superintendent of Hillsborough County Public Schools, joining us as a speaker.

Join us on September 10th for our annual EmpowerED luncheon! This year’s event, themed “Investing in Education,” will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers, including Dr. Clayton Nylund, Hillsborough County Teacher of the Year and Finalist for Florida's Teacher of the Year. They will be sharing personal stories and discussing crucial topics facing public education today.

This gathering will highlight the importance of investing in a strong public education system, the cornerstone of any prosperous community. Funds raised will benefit thousands of our most vulnerable students and teachers in the highest needs schools across Hillsborough County.

Together, we can ensure every student has access to the essential tools, resources, and support necessary for success, both academically and in life. Help us ensure Hillsborough teachers and students are classroom-ready this school year!

Every summer, HEF partners with local businesses, organizations and individuals to collect school supplies and we need you to join us in this effort.

Nearly 150,000 HCPS students are from economically disadvantaged families and many of these children don't have some of the most basic supplies they need to be fully engaged in their learning.

Join us and #EraseTheNeed by hosting a supply drive, shopping our Amazon Wish List or making a monetary donation.

Hillsborough County Public Schools teachers, our Teaching Tools Resource Center reopens for the 2024-25 school year on July 23!

All full-time HCPS instructional staff (excluding non-Title I charter schools) can shop for free core school supplies and other resources twice per semester.
