The Y’s Men Annual Hot Dog Festival scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday, July 30) at 5:00 pm at Compo Beach South has been postponed because of the hot weather. The picnic, held as a fundraiser for Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, will be rescheduled probably in September. Stay tuned for the new date.
Tonight's Chicago Concert
Meanwhile the Chicago concert, scheduled for this evening at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, will be held despite the heat. Y's Men: stay hydrated. You are allowed to bring a 16 ounce sealed water bottle into the Amphitheater.
