Be Smart Online: Protecting Your Kids from Online Predators

Join us as Sam Parker, an FBI agent specializing in online predators, comes to give a presentation to bring awareness to the reality kids are facing in a world full of technology at their fingertips. This event is geared toward 6th graders through grandparents, so come learn on how we can help protect our kids from online predators!

Women in Prayer 🙏🏼

Every Monday • 9:30am-10:30am

All women are invited to gather each Monday from 9:30–10:30 AM in the Library for a special time of prayer.

Together, we’ll pray for our preschool, children’s ministry, and youth, as well as the children and grandchildren in our own lives and community. Moms, grandmothers, aunts, friends—all women are welcome!

Come as you are and join us as we lift up the next generation in prayer.

Please note: There will not be prayer group on November 23.

In an effort to keep the cost as low as possible, we will be serving Chick-fil-A boxed meals for dinner. The cost for dinner is $10/adult, $5/youth (7th-12th grade), and children (6th grade and younger) are free.

Lakewood’s longest running Bible study has resumed with Cynthia and Doug Haase leading a study in the book of 1 Peter. Mike Hudson’s mom, Carol, started this study many years ago, and it’s still active today. Stop by EB103 (Mendoza Room) and say hi or stay a while one Wednesday between 4-5:30pm!

21 Strong 💪

Every Thursday • 6:30pm

Join us on Thursdays at 6:30 for 21 STRONG. Ages 18-98 are welcome to attend. Bring water and a mat or towel and meet in the CAC Gym. We'll start with word and prayer, move into stretching and warm-up, then review and perform your individual workout with the group while inspired by song. The weekly 21 STRONG sessions are geared toward building your physical strength in order to better serve others.
